Three Sisters Three Rivers

Kona had knocked the ball out of the park with their 2016 Process model, but all that hype was shadowing another model they knew to be just as excellent: the Hei Hei. Limberlost has turnkey access to a growing demographic of bicycle adventurists, and Kona asked us to put the Hei Hei to the test on our highly anticipated Three Sisters Three Rivers bikepacking route. The route and bicycles exceeded our expectations—as well as capturing the imaginations of our audience. Three Sisters Three Rivers went on to be named "Best New Route of 2015" by Bikepacking.com.


The Kona Hei Hei performed wonderfully for our 8 day bikepacking adventure over the cascade range. Gabe and Jason from Limberlost provided two unique and sought after perspectives on the bike, as well as in-depth reviews in a variety of digital and print media.


During the trip Limberlost documented our adventures and the bikes providing over 100 professional photographs of the bike in action as a part of a larger story.
